responsibilities and impact:
define and manage the product backlog for data integration and analytics initiatives.
collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
partner with development teams to design, build, and deploy solutions using informatica (etl) and sql-based platforms.
ensure data pipelines and workflows meet performance, quality, and security standards.
prioritize and groom backlog items, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
support sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in an agile environment.
act as a subject matter expert for informatica workflows, mappings, and transformations.
write and review complex sql queries to validate data quality and transformations.
communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
collaborate with architects, engineers, and qa teams to ensure smooth delivery.
what we're looking for:
basic required qualifications:
6+ years of experience in roles such as product owner, business analyst, or data integration specialist.
4+ years of experience with informatica or a similar etl tool.
strong proficiency in sql, including query writing, performance tuning, and debugging.
familiarity with data warehousing, relational databases, and cloud data platforms.
solid understanding of agile/scrum methodologies.
excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
additional preferred qualifications:
experience in data visualization tools like power bi & tableau is a plus.
ability to collaborate with business and technology teams to create practical, robust, and scalable architectures and solutions.
experience facilitating functional design and technical design for reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions.
