Responsibilities:
- Manage a group of interrelated projects, optimally allocating resources for each project, analyzing deviations from plans, and making necessary corrections.

- Manage programs and projects, delivering on time and within a margin equal to or greater than the agreed upon contract (project department).
- Assign project managers to oversee the projects under their responsibility.
- Manage (assign) manufacturing and installation managers to various projects to support their project managers.
- Monthly review of all projects under their responsibility at the ROF meeting, supporting PMs beforehand so they are prepared for the meeting.
- Continuous review of the projects under their responsibility, making any necessary adjustments with the managers who oversee them.
Requirements:
- Engineering or Master's degree in project management.
- Five or more years of experience in the industrial automation systems industry.
- Knowledge of industrial automation processes, applications, and solutions used in automotive manufacturing production systems, such as BIW assembly, battery assembly, powertrain assembly, general assembly, or warehouse logistics systems.
- Strong project management skills with certification desirable.

- Manage project team members, including overseeing and assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and assessing work product to ensure technical specifications meet operational requirements
- Manage project budget, timeline, issue resolution and risk mitigation
- Ensure internal labor CAPEX is planned for and captured in timesheets
- Deliver a monthly forecast for the year that takes into account actuals
- Adhere to monthly financial deadlines for Good Receipts, Accruals, and forecasting
- Work with product owner to define product backlog and sprint user stories and acceptance criteria
- Use JIRA/SNOW/Smartsheets to capture the user stories required for the sprint and product backlog
- Conduct Sprint/release planning and finalize the scope of each sprint
- Conduct regular meetings including standup meeting with team members
- Review the daily progress from the team members and ensure deliverables are completed on time
- Conduct functional demos to business teams and obtain sign off on user stories
- Work closely with release teams to ensure release process is followed and fully adhered to

Project Management Specialist I
Job Summary
The Project Specialist I will manage smaller, repeatable projects, with lower project governance requirements. This position will be responsible for ensuring customer needs are satisfied by providing specific deliverables consistent with the SOW. The ideal candidate is customer focused and driven by results, as well as a self-starter, team player, and has great interpersonal skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain project delivery schedules on small scale IMAC-D projects, under direction of a project manager or handling independently.
- Meet pre-defined project commitments and manage multiple workstreams.
- Create and manage cases to closure in Clearvision and other dispatch tools.
- Assign and manage work for technicians and provide first point of escalation for both technicians and clients.
- Monitor and evaluate project timeline and activity, reporting on progress to project managers and leadership.
- Communicate any issues to project managers and stakeholders and recommend solutions.
- Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the company
Basic Qualifications
- Associates Degree or related experience in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems or related field.
- 0 - 2 years of related experience such as in project management, business administration, operations management, IT management support, or contract management.
- Technical reporting, and research skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in presenting and meeting facilitation.

About this role:
The Senior Manager, Strategic Delivery will be responsible for assisting the Director, Project Management in driving the overall Professional Services business. This role will have a particular emphasis on billable revenue generating activities for the Strategic Segment. This role aligns with Services Account Executives in order to support pre-sales services activities. These activities include statement of work generation, customer presentations of services solutions, PS led QBRs, and supporting internal deal review and approval processes. The Sr. Manager has a deep understanding of professional services methodologies, approaches, and delivery best practices. They manage a team of Project Managers responsible for delivering complex, multi-work stream efforts, with solid project management skills who work collaboratively with the customer resources and the Okta project team to deliver results.
Success criteria/metrics for this role will include:
- Customer satisfaction: supporting the achievement of the segment’s CSAT goals
- Key strategic deal and customer support for the Strategic segment
- Be a trusted advisor to the practice, customer, and services sales organization
- Supporting achievement of segment revenue and utilization quarterly targets
- Works with accounts teams to build relationships and provides business intelligence on client operations and decisions
- Providing thought leadership to enhance the quality of Okta-customer relationships
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Project Managers
- Set performance goals and objectives for their Project Management team, regularly evaluating and providing feedback on performance
- Act as the primary PS point of contact for high prioritized customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any issues or concerns

- Engage with Sales and Account teams to identify/drive account growth opportunities
- Validate scope and effort on new opportunities
- Collaborate with the account team on Segment forecast and SOW reviews
- Incorporate post-project lessons learned into scoping of new opportunities
- Prepare for and participate in PS led quarterly business reviews
- Develop and enforce the use of standard SOW language regarding Program and Project Management
- Drive forecasting accuracy within the Segment
- Provide clear and timely communication regarding the status of key strategic customers and engagements
- Follow the project management methodology and ensure that projects adhere to the defined methodology and stage gate process
- Drive continuous improvement - methodology, templates, best practices etc. based on lessons learned from projects
- Plan, coordinate, track and manage project(s) to successful completion
- Assist with escalations and work with customers on resolution
Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional services experience preferably with 5+ years as a professional services or consultant manager
- Experience in customer-facing positions as a professional service manager or business development, preferably with a SaaS Technology or “Big 5” consulting organization
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- B.S./B.A./M.S. degree or equivalent experience
- PMP certification recommended
- Prefer a background with Strategic Accounts and Identity & Access Management
- Up to 25% travel maybe required
- You MUST be located in Mexico City
