Senior logistics analyst
this is a senior-level position responsible for streamlining logistic processes and improving customer satisfaction through automation of order entry, expediting, and shipping processes.
key responsibilities:
* propose and challenge logistic process evolutions to improve customer satisfaction and automate order entry, expediting, and shipping processes.
* ensure prompt and thorough handling of customer inquiries, claims, and complaints, including chargebacks, repairs, and returned material.
* provide satisfactory solutions to customers related to lead times and delivery dates.
* manage marketing demand forecast and backlog to determine optimal inventory levels and stocking programs.
* drive follow-up and determine causes that affect service levels.
* collaborate with the manufacturing floor to provide schedule production.
* interface with engineering, purchasing, and accounting to develop and implement systems for production scheduling.
* coordinate and analyze business growth on products to balance scheduling of new and existing products.
* review delivery dates with customers and check for opportunities to improve delivery dates.
requirements:
* at least 2 years of experience in customer service, schedule production, materials, and supply chain.
* bachelor's degree in engineering.
* desirable experience with oracle systems.
* knowledge of shipping and logistics.
* ability to manage and develop personnel.
* experience with make-to-order systems.
* advanced fluency in english.
