Scope
the e-commerce lead will be responsible for driving and expanding the company’s e-commerce business across marketplaces, owned websites, and digital channels in mexico and other latam markets. This role oversees the end-to-end online sales process, ensuring operational efficiency, commercial growth, and alignment with business objectives.
the position requires a strategic and analytical mindset to optimize processes, identify growth opportunities, and execute commercial initiatives that enhance online performance and profitability. The e-commerce lead will work closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen the company’s digital presence, improve customer acquisition and conversion, and support regional expansion initiatives.
duties & responsibilities
- develop and execute e-commerce commercial strategies focused on achieving defined roi and business growth objectives.
- manage and expand marketplace presence across latam markets, including mexico, chile, brazil, peru, and colombia.
- oversee seo initiatives and digital optimization strategies to improve online visibility and search engine positioning.
- analyze e-commerce performance metrics and prepare regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- coordinate and execute digital commercial events and campaigns, including cybermonday, hot sale, and black friday.
- define and monitor pricing strategies across markets, platforms, and product categories.
- manage and optimize digital advertising strategies to increase traffic, improve conversion, and strengthen brand positioning on social media platforms.
- identify and implement innovative growth initiatives and customer acquisition strategies.
- plan, execute, and evaluate a/b testing, conversion optimization initiatives, and performance experiments.
- collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve operational processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
- monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging e-commerce opportunities to support business expansion.
skills & qualifications
bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce, digital commerce, or online business development roles.
- experience within consumer electronics, retail, or related industries preferred.
- strong understanding of digital marketing, merchandising, branding, sales analysis, and retail advertising.
- excellent verbal and written communication skills in both english and spanish preferred.
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive strategic decisions.
- proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- strong negotiation, presentation, and project management skills.
