1. lead and manage logistics, shipping and supply chain projects from concept to completion, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
2. analyze current logistics and shipping processes and systems to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
3. design and implement solutions that optimize warehousing, material handling, shipping, transportation, and distribution operations.
4. collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, quality, and it to ensure project alignment with business goals.
5. coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3pl), carriers, and vendors to support project implementation and daily operations.
6. support the introduction of automation and digital tools (wms, tms, erp) to enhance logistics performance.
7. conduct time studies, layout planning, and flow analysis to support continuous improvement.
8. monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
9. ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
10. train and support staff on new processes, tools, and systems introduced as part of logistics initiatives.
* bachelor's degree
* english (advanced)
* 2+ years experience in the analysis of industrial processes, process and material flow, and human factors interaction.
* demonstrated ability to evaluate multiple concepts, through empirical and projective analysis
* strong communication and presentation skills to summarize and present recommendations and concepts for management approval.
* knowledge of six sigma and lean manufacturing.
