In meztal we are seeking a highly experienced agile project manager to lead the execution and delivery of complex, enterprise-level it initiatives within a safe (scaled agile framework) environment.
this role goes beyond facilitation. The agile project manager will serve as a key delivery leader responsible for ensuring predictable, successful execution of programs across multiple teams, managing risks and dependencies, aligning stakeholders, and driving measurable outcomes.
the ideal candidate brings hands-on experience leading agile release trains (arts), facilitating pi planning and art ceremonies, and ensuring delivery predictability, transparency, and accountability in fast-paced enterprise environments.
this individual must be comfortable working with executive stakeholders, driving alignment, managing ambiguity, and ensuring delivery commitments are met.
key responsibilities
agile delivery leadership & program execution
* lead the successful execution and delivery of enterprise it initiatives across multiple agile teams.
* own delivery predictability, ensuring teams meet commitments and timelines.
* drive execution by identifying risks, dependencies, and impediments, and ensuring timely resolution.
* develop and maintain program-level plans, timelines, and delivery milestones.
* ensure alignment between delivery execution and business objectives.
art facilitation & safe execution
* facilitate pi planning, scrum of scrums, art sync, system demos, and inspect & adapt sessions.
* coordinate work across multiple teams to ensure alignment and continuous progress.
* identify and manage cross-team dependencies and execution risks.
* ensure art objectives are clearly defined, tracked, and delivered.
stakeholder alignment & executive communication
* act as a key point of contact for stakeholders and leadership regarding delivery progress.
* provide clear, structured updates on delivery status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
* facilitate alignment between business stakeholders, product management, and technical teams.
* manage stakeholder expectations and ensure transparency throughout delivery.
risk, dependency & release management
* identify and proactively manage delivery risks and cross-team dependencies.
* drive resolution of blockers and escalation when necessary.
* coordinate releases and ensure successful deployment of delivered solutions.
* maintain visibility into delivery progress using dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools.
continuous improvement & agile maturity
* help improve agile maturity across teams and the organization.
* promote accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
* support teams in adopting and strengthening safe practices and delivery discipline.
requirements
* 5+ years of experience in agile delivery roles such as:
* agile project manager
* release train engineer (rte)
* program manager
* delivery manager
* proven experience leading delivery in safe environments.
* hands-on experience facilitating:
* pi planning
* art sync / scrum of scrums
* inspect & adapt
* program increment execution
* demonstrated experience managing:
* cross-team dependencies
* program-level risks
* delivery timelines and execution
* strong experience working with enterprise stakeholders and leadership.
* strong experience with agile tools such as:
* azure devops (preferred)
* jira
* confluence
* agile dashboards and reporting tools
* safe certification required (spc, rte, or equivalent)
preferred qualifications
* safe program consultant (spc) certification strongly preferred
* experience leading large agile release trains (50+ people preferred)
* experience working in enterprise or highly regulated environments
* experience managing global or distributed teams
