Sales manager, mexicothe sales manager is a hands-on, customer-facing sales role responsible for driving revenue growth through direct relationships with our major retail partners across the mexican market. This position is focused on selling, account management, and execution, with responsibility for managing key customer relationships end to end.united wheels is the market leader in mexico, and our retail partners value us because we consistently ship on time and ship complete. This role builds on that strong foundation by maintaining trusted customer relationships and identifying opportunities to grow the business within an established, well-performing market.the sales manager will spend the majority of their time working directly with our mass retail customers (walmart, costco, coppel), managing accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and coordinating internally to ensure strong execution.this role is based onsite in our mexico city (interlomas) office.key responsibilitiesdirect sales & retail relationship managementserve as the primary point of contact for key retail partners in mexicomaintain direct, working relationships with major mass retail and club customers (e.g., walmart and similar national retailers)own and manage customer relationships end to end, from line reviews and negotiations through execution and follow-upbuild trust with buyers and retail teams through consistent communication and reliable executionfocus on growing revenue, expanding assortments, and improving sell-through within existing accountsfull-cycle sales executionmanage the full sales cycle including opportunity development, pricing discussions, forecasting, order placement, and renewalslead customer meetings, presentations, and commercial discussionsensure commitments made to customers are executed accurately and on timeresolve customer issues quickly and professionally to maintain strong relationshipsaccount planning & forecastingdevelop account-level sales plans and forecaststrack performance against targets and adjust plans asneededidentify new growth opportunities within existing accounts and across channelsmonitor sales trends, promotions, and seasonal performanceinternal coordination & dotted-line leadershipcoordinate with internal teams including operations, supply chain, marketing, and finance to support customer needswork with key account managers and independent sales representatives as needed through dotted-line coordinationensure clear communication and alignment across all sales-related resourcesmarket awareness & business insightstay informed on customer needs, market trends, and competitiveactivityprovide feedback and insights to internal teams to support better decision-makingrepresent the voice of the customer internallyskills & qualificationsexperience & skillsa passion for cycling and the outdoors5+ years of sales experience in consumer products, retail, or a related industryproven experience selling directly to large retail customers in mexico (walmart, costco, coppel etc.)demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships independently and close businessstrong understanding of retail sales cycles, forecasting, and accountmanagementexcellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skillsorganized, detail-oriented, and execution-focusedcomfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environmenteducationbachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferredlanguage& travelfluency in spanish and english (written and spoken) is requiredwillingness to travel within mexico and abroad for customer and company meetings as neededunited wheels inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
