motion law llc is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented full-time accounts receivable specialist contractor to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring timely and accurate client payments while maintaining strong and professional client relationships. The ideal candidate will be comfortable speaking directly with clients, creating thorough notes, and demonstrating a confident, solution-oriented personality that ensures services provided are paid for promptly.
key responsibilities
* manage the complete accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment posting, and follow-up collections.
* communicate directly with clients in both english and spanish regarding outstanding balances, payment arrangements, and account updates.
* document all client interactions accurately and maintain clear records in the firm's systems.
* monitor outstanding balances, identify discrepancies, and resolve payment issues efficiently.
* prepare and maintain regular reports on receivables, account aging, and cash flow.
* collaborate with the accounting and legal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and client agreements.
* provide support with month-end closing processes and audits as needed.
qualifications
* proven experience in accounts receivable, collections, billing, or a similar accounting role.
* strong ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, including sensitive financial discussions.
* excellent written and verbal communication skills in both english and spanish (required).
* high attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
