The role
we are looking for a senior data scientist who thrives on turning raw, complex data into actionable intelligence. You will be responsible for navigating both curated and non-curated datasets, building robust data structures, and applying advanced statistical methodologies to solve business-critical problems. This is a role for a practitioner who balances technical execution with a deep understanding of experimental design and machine learning.
what you'll do
* data exploration & synthesis: access and explore unknown raw data across curated and non-curated tables. You will write complex sql queries to join disparate data sources, cleaning and transforming them into usable, high-quality data structures.
* automation & scalability: build and automate scripts to create cleaned datasets, real-time dashboards, and proactive alerts to streamline decision-making.
* experimental design: lead the analysis of both standard and non-standard a/b tests, ensuring rigorous statistical validation and clear communication of results.
* advanced analytics: apply a sophisticated toolkit of methodologies—including power analysis, causal inference, and predictive analytics—to uncover deep insights and drive strategy.
* model development: utilize python and frequently used ml/ai algorithms to build models that solve complex business challenges.
