your goal:
as the cross-border capacity strategist, you'll be responsible for ensuring that we have adequate capacity to meet our clients' needs. Your primary focus will be on managing carrier relationships, negotiating rates, and coordinating shipments to ensure that our clients' freight is delivered on time and in the most cost-effective manner possible. This will involve research to identify new carriers, build relationships with existing carriers, and manage carrier performance. You'll also work closely with our sales team to ensure that we have the necessary capacity to meet our clients' needs.
day to day activities:
develop and maintain relationships with carriers to ensure adequate capacity
negotiate rates with carriers to ensure cost-effective shipping solutions
coordinate and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
work with our operations team to identify new carriers and manage carrier performance
collaborate with our sales team to ensure that we have the necessary capacity to meet our clients' needs
stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the company is providing cutting-edge logistics solutions.
your professional gains and personal skills:
bachelor's degree in logistics, international business, business administration, industrial engineering or a related field
experience in logistics, international business, transportation operations, or a related field preferable
you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
you have exceptional communication skills, able to build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and team members.
you're a creative problem-solver who enjoys finding innovative solutions to complex challenges.
