Position overview the quality engineer ensures that all products and processes comply with customer requirements and internal quality standards. This role oversees quality systems, supplier and customer quality management, and drives continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. Main responsibilities manage apqp and ppap documentation to ensure compliance with customer and industry standards. Oversee incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality control, ensuring adherence to specifications. Lead supplier quality management activities, including audits, corrective actions, and performance tracking. Handle customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis (8d), and implement corrective and preventive actions. Monitor and reduce cost of poor quality (copq) and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure documentation traceability and compliance with iatf 16949 and iso 9001 systems. Requirements bachelors degree or higher in engineering or related field (mandatory). 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within the automotive industry. Knowledge of apqp, ppap, 8d, fmea, spc, and msa methodologies.
