Transportation vendor liaison
we are seeking a skilled professional to serve as a key point of contact for our transportation vendors.
* assist with reviewing and communicating tariff information
* manage circuit-based term agreements
* develop relationships with vendors to drive business growth
* create and execute vendor strategies to reduce costs and enhance product offerings
* negotiate contracts to optimize value for the organization
* ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
* communicate vendor capabilities to internal stakeholders
* facilitate vendor performance management and direct improvement plans
the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build strong cross-functional relationships. Operational experience in telecommunications is required, as well as some experience interpreting terms and conditions of purchase agreements and lec tariffs.
a customer-focused approach and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential for success in this role.
typically, 1+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in business, finance, telecommunications or a related field are necessary.
