Creates plans, forecasts, and schedules relating to materials required and maintains proper inventory levels to meet operational requirements.

- * qualifications/skills*:
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent in supply chain, business or engineering
- minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience in a manufacturing environment in materials planning/master scheduling/management role(s). Demonstrated capabilities of managing and improving a constrained supply plan.
- strong knowledge and experience of mrp/erp systems (sap), ideally integrated business planning (ibp).
- extended knowledge of planning processes (mrp, mps, siop).
- experience with high mix/low volume demand and supply.
- strong computer skills in microsoft excel, powerpoint, and outlook.
- excellent collaboration skills. Able to effectively communicate at different levels of the organization.
- ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- conceptual and problem-solving skills, pragmatic approach with the capability to drive and sustain performance improvements.
- strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and comfort with large amounts of data. Demonstrated ability in analyzing and driving data-driven actions and improvements.
- basic knowledge of lean production (value stream mapping, material replenishment and flow, pfep, etc.)
- general knowledge of operations / manufacturing processes in production plants as a basis for driving capacity improvements to support siop performance.
- fluent in english, both written and spoken.
