your work shapes the world at caterpillar inc. You will supervise and coordinate activities on the production line, prepare schedules, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
responsibilities
* create reports and records of production processes, tool performance, incidents, and inventory; share with management and propose improvements in safety, productivity, and quality.
* maintain and update documentation related to operating procedures and safety and quality standards; ensure that all processes and products meet established standards.
* supervise and direct daily activities of line operators, assign tasks, ensure coordination between teams, safeguard their safety, and monitor performance.
* integrate new collaborators, manage scheduling and work conflicts, monitor safety, and promote internal communication to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
skills
* resolución de problemas: knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques to identify, anticipate, and resolve organizational, operational, or process problems; ability to apply problem‑solving knowledge appropriately in various situations.

requirements
* education: university degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, industrial engineering or related field.
* experience: 5 years in paint processes.
* languages: basic english.
* must be available to work rotating shifts.
preferred qualifications
* intermediate or pre‑advanced english.

* position requires on‑site work six days a week.
