responsibilities
 * collaborate with the engineering lead and product manager to establish feature requirements, including integrations with third-party services
 * work alongside the engineering lead to ensure that proposed solutions meet all feature requirements
 * maintain clear and timely communication with product managers, stakeholders, and development teams to align objectives
 * partner with engineers and product managers to produce comprehensive technical documentation for projects and products
 * write and refine user stories with detailed descriptions and acceptance criteria, obtaining approval from the technical product owner
 * define and manage both functional and non-functional requirements to support project goals
 * oversee and maintain a well-prioritized backlog to ensure project health and progress
 * facilitate discussions to bridge business needs with technical solutions and ensure alignment across teams
requirements
 * bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
 * a minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
 * at least 2 years of experience managing and leading development teams
 * experience participating in at least 2 full-cycle projects or contributing to multiple lifecycle phases across various projects
 * strong ability to analyze business needs and convert them into technical and business requirements
 * demonstrated initiative, ownership, and the ability to foster collaboration across teams
 * proven experience in planning, organizing, and managing the product design and business analysis process
 * solid background in healthcare, with knowledge of healthcare systems and industry-specific challenges
 * familiarity with hipaa, gdpr, and other healthcare-related compliance standards
 * hands-on experience managing sensitive data such as phi and pii in compliance with privacy and security regulations
 * proficiency in english at a c1+ level, both written and spoken, for effective communication and collaboration
nice to have
 * experience working with api-enabled products and integrating them with external applications or solutions
 * knowledge of agile methodologies, including frameworks such as scrum or kanban
 * understanding of ux/ui principles to contribute to user-focused product design
 * strong expertise in data governance and data quality management
 * experience with cloud-based platforms and services, especially aws tools like lambda, s3, or dynamodb
