In this role, your responsibilities will be:
* identify and analyze areas of opportunity for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes using methodologies such as lean manufacturing, six sigma, and other analytical tools.
* lead and participate in improvement projects, implementing effective solutions to optimize workflow, reduce variability, and improve quality.
* conduct root cause analysis to identify and correct recurring process problems.
* collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
* generate periodic reports on the performance of manufacturing processes, including efficiency, quality, and cost metrics.
* use statistical tools for data analysis and decision-making.
* ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards in all manufacturing processes.
for this role, you will need:
* a strong foundation in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering principles.
* proficiency in cad software and other engineering tools for product design and analysis and the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues.
* skill in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform decision-making.
* the ability to build strong relationships with team members, peers, and multi-functional teams.
* an attitude focused on identifying and implementing process improvements.
* a strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision.
preferred qualifications that set you apart:
* bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
* +3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a process engineering role.
* proficiency in cad software, statistical analysis tools, and other relevant engineering software.
* strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
* knowledge in reading product drawings.
* proficiency in english/ spanish, both written and spoken
