job summary
responsible for the safe and efficient operation of palletizing machinery to stack and prepare products for shipment, ensuring adherence to quality and production standards.
job responsibilities
* operate and monitor automated and semi-automated palletizing equipment.
* load and unload products onto conveyors and pallets according to established procedures.
* inspect products for defects or damage before and after palletization.
* adjust machine settings and troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions.
* maintain a clean and organized work area, including the palletizing equipment.
* follow all safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout.
* perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on machinery.
* communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production issues or concerns.
* complete necessary production logs and reports accurately.
* assist in other warehouse or production tasks as needed.
job qualifications
* high school diploma or equivalent.
* prior experience operating palletizing equipment or similar machinery in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
* ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
* strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
* basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor adjustments.
* ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies.
* flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
