* lead all finance-related activities in mexico, including fp&a, accounting, tax, costing, consolidation, and plant controlling.
* act as a true business partner to the plant director and executive leadership; ensuring finance is central to all strategic decisions.
* drive all budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis efforts across the country.
* coordinate and deliver timely and accurate financial closings, often within accelerated timeframes.
* interface with global and regional finance stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency on financial performance.
* supervise and support plant controllers to optimize operational kpis and cost-efficiency.
* maintain robust internal controls, financial compliance, and audit readiness.
* lead and develop a team of +20 professionals, including direct reports including cost, consolidation, tax & accounting.
perfil buscado
* minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles within global manufacturing companies
* previous experience as country finance director, cfo, or regional multi-site controller
* proven track record managing multi-plant operations with full p&l responsibility (ideally > usd $700m in annual sales)
* strong industry background in automotive, aerospace, or heavy manufacturing
* expertise in fp&a, cost accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting
* skilled in influencing operations and working closely with plant directors to drive decision-making and financial strategy
* experience leading large finance teams +20 people.
* hands-on knowledge of sap and/or other major erp systems
* fluent in spanish and advanced in english (business level)
* willingness to relocate to a key city within guanajuato
