job description
key responsibilities
* lead the implementation of sourcing plans for the sub-category and deliver productivity targets following engagement in the target setting process.
* provide input into the overall category and sub-category strategy about segmentation and identification of key supplier relationships, and lead business planning activities to ensure these projects are executed on time in line with the targeted goals.
* manage strategic supplier relationships, implement consistent key performance indicators for the sub-category, and resolve supplier performance risks and issues promptly to ensure end-user satisfaction.
* manage stakeholder ecosystem. Collect supplier information and feedback from category teams and business partners, and deliver procurement balanced scorecard metrics for the relevant sub-category.
* review major contracts for the sub-category, ensure negotiated contracts are clearly communicated and consistently applied.
* contribute to talent development of team members.
essential requirements
* procurement functional breadth.
* bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, management, or a related field.
* experience in pharma, patient services, or regulatory areas.
* cross-cultural exposure and cross-functional working environment experience.
* north america market experience and project management skills.
* effective communication, influencing, persuading, strategic thinking, planning, and analytical skills.
* ability to analyze internal and external customer needs.
* advanced english proficiency.
