Sourcing and procurement expert
this role is responsible for acquiring goods, materials, and services to meet operational requirements. The job holder will possess specialized technical knowledge and expertise, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
key responsibilities:
* support global/regional sourcing teams by acting as a liaison with suppliers for rfq, facilitating technical collaboration, adherence to specifications, cost, and delivery targets.
* balance tactical implementations with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction projects.
* maintain a cost tracker at sub-component level and communicate potential cost and lead-time impacts to the bidding team.
* collaborate with category manager to achieve optimal value from the supply base, ensuring continuous availability of required goods and materials.
the successful candidate will possess excellent supplier management skills, integrity, and negotiation abilities. They will also have good technical purchasing knowledge to liaise with internal teams and suppliers.
