as a senior accounting supervisor, you will be accountable for accurate and timely closure of books of accounts per honeywell accounting policies and procedures and general accounting and auditing practices.
you will also be responsible for managing internal and external audit requirements, including timely resolution of findings and comments.
you will be responsible for driving account reconciliation process on monthly basis.
*key responsibilities*
deliver month end close activities for multiple medium & high risk entities - manufacturing and non-manufacturing entities.
ensure compliance & adherence of businesses to defined policies & work procedures.
ensure account recons are delivered with quality.
participate in external and internal audits schedules preparation and coordination.
manage bpo for banking activities & ensure timely delivery with quality.
ensure foreign transactions, translations and hedges are properly recorded.
ensure banking recons are delivered on-time & with quality with no unexplained items.
ensure queries / transactions are resolved timely and gl is not aged.
ensure all banking recons are delivered by bpo on-time and with quality with no unexplained items.
manage bank processes e.g.
cash pooling, country specific banking requirements, cash funding, dd etc
participate in process improvement reviews and projects.
*you must have*
- hands on experience with sap a must, other large erp systems preferred.
- large multinational environment experience.
- strong communicator on all levels.
- process orientated with excellent problem-solving skills.
- strong technical and analytical skills.
