- problem resolution:
- provides support to clients in response to service center tickets, service requests and ad hoc requests, meeting or exceeding established service level agreements.
- resolves problems and identifies issue-prevention opportunities and solutions, demonstrating true service excellence.
- on-going client support:
- interfaces with clients in the understanding of business requirements
- actively engaged with the business to identify and develop continuous improvement initiatives at the site. Develops business case for continuous improvement activities.
- engages with global domain staff in the identification, evaluation, and recommendation of solutions.
- assists with definition of solution scope and development of project plans and budgets.
- articulates vision, selection criteria, and rationale for preferred solution during pgm-digital review.
- solution development:
- develops local digital solutions to meet basic business-related requirements that are outside the scope of established global solutions.
- solutions typically utilize commercial-off-the-shelf (cots) software in lieu of custom development and are practical, risk-balanced, and end-to-end in scope.
- provides project level systems analysis with an emphasis on systems development life cycle (sdlc) documentation activities.
- performs testing to demonstrate viability of solutions.
- participates in the effort to educate clients on the end-to-end nature of solutions.
- as required, serves as the primary point of contact for less complex project implementations and technical solutions.
- documentation:
- assists in the development of clearly written specification documents, work instructions, qualification, and/or support and training materials.
- prepares routine reports or status updates for clients on the status of systems or program roll-outs.
- prepares and maintains sections of presentations on implementation initiatives as required.
- maintains end-to-end models of technical implementations in appropriate support tools.
- benchmarking:
- conducts performance and functionality benchmarking of less complex digital systems and business unit plans to identify areas of opportunity.
- performs research on industry best practices.
- as appropriate, participates in or reviews materials published by professional organizations and local associations to contribute towards recommendations for standards and practices.
- compliance:
- engage with pgs digital compliance to ensure the right policies and programs are in place to maintain system compliance with gxp regulations and pfizer policy and standards.
- serve as iso (information security officer) to ensure compliance with pfizer’s information security policies.
- support bcp and drp activities and practices.
- lead at the site level inspection readiness activities relating to digital and promote awareness with the site audit and quality teams
education:
- bachelor of science degree in information management, computer science, engineering, technology management, or relevant disciplines required
prior experience:
- 3+ years’ business analyst experience contributing to it projects
- experience with/exposure to the software development life cycle
- good documentation experience
- strong problem-solving skills with ability of accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgement
basic qualifications:
- knowledge of feature prioritization techniques
- a curious and highly motivated self-starter who can work effectively across cross-functional teams and can independently drive progress toward completion with proper planning and management
- experience using standard requirements business analysis techniques, including brainstorming, interviewing, requirements sessions, activity diagrams and use cases
- passion for creating user-centric digital and interactive experiences
- outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- meticulous attention to detail
- ability to produce and track multiple deliverables simultaneously
- extensive experience with jira and microsoft office (word, excel, outlook)
- manage cross team collaborative efforts

- experience working in ambiguous situations
- willingness to work either informally or formally contributing on various-size teams of technologists, it professionals or project managers using agile, devops, and other approaches for iterative development
- ability/desire to collaborate and work effectively in team settings, frequently in virtual teams with client partner and customer engagement responsibilities
- experience using microsoft power platform (power automate, powerapps, power bi, etc), sharepoint
- experience in microsoft teams
