we are looking for a quality engineer.
what you will do:
* develop and implement systems to ensure products or services meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.
* participate in the change management process to keep products or services compliant with customer requirements.
* work as part of a cross‑functional team with other business and engineering disciplines.
* establish principles of product and service quality evaluation and control for the system.
how you will do it:
* provide direction and supervise the development of inspection plans, first article inspection, in‑process and final product inspection, sampling plans, inspection and acceptance criteria, and design validation testing.
* develop, document, and implement quality systems in accordance with domestic and international standards.
* implement corrective, preventive, and containment actions for customer complaints and avoid claims or warranties from the field using tools such as pfmea, process audits, training, and check‑lists.
* plan, prepare, execute, report, and follow up on audit processes, including various audit types.
* develop and implement quality programs, tracking, analyzing, reporting, and problem solving.
* lead projects using problem‑solving techniques such as quick, medium, and major kaizens, and lead to solutions across all functional areas.
* control and assure product and process quality in accordance with quality principles, including planning processes, material control, acceptance sampling, and measurement systems.
* apply problem‑solving and quality improvement tools and techniques, including 5w+1h tools, gemba analysis, phenomenon evaluation, characterization, and root‑cause analysis.
* facilitate continuous improvement and learning across all functional areas through training and communication of quality initiatives.
* analyze and implement corrective actions based on customer complaints, warranties analysis, risk analysis, scrap, and other data.
* manage people—develop and manage engineers and auditors, participate in risk assessments and training programs.
* define corrective and preventive actions and analyze the consequences of all actions before any activity.
qualifications:
* bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or equivalent.
* minimum 4 years of progressive experience in continuous improvement, quality, statistical control, electricity, and mechanics, including at least 2 years of direct project management experience.
* professional recognition and industry networking desired.
* high proficiency at speaking to large audiences.
* ability to lead and direct diverse teams.
* travel up to 30% of the time.
* strong personal computer skills in ms office suite.
