Objectiveensure the correct execution and continuous improvement of casting manufacturing processes in the automotive industry, guaranteeing compliance with safety, quality, cost, environmental, and customer service standards. Foster a strong culture of safety, operational discipline, and teamwork aligned with nemak's core values. Main responsibilities ensure safe and efficient casting operations in full alignment with hse standards to achieve zero-accident performance. Supervise and coordinate all production activities within the casting area, ensuring compliance with production schedules, manpower planning, and resource utilization manage and lead a workforce of 150–200 employees, including supervisors, operators, and technical staff, promoting engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement monitor process performance and product quality, driving root-cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Control and analyze manufacturing costs, supporting efficiency, scrap reduction, and budget targets. Collaborate closely with maintenance, engineering, and quality departments to ensure equipment reliability and process stability. Promote sustainability by optimizing energy use, raw material consumption, and waste reduction throughout casting operations. Identify training needs, provide coaching, and support skill development to strengthen technical and operational capabilities of the production team. Position requirements education: bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, metallurgical, or manufacturing engineering (or related field). Experience: minimum 5–6 years in a production leadership position (chief, coordinator, superintendent). Proven experience leading 150–200 people in casting or foundry operations within the automotive industry. Experience managing shift operations, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives. Note: this is a production chief position — not a managerial role.
