The Sales Engineer is integrated within the Sales Organization of the respective Customer Business Unit and is responsible for the sales development of the assigned product portfolio.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain customer relationships (Purchasing, Engineering, Programs)
* Prepare and create commercial offers
* Negotiate and manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
* Monitor product profitability and commercial productivity proposals
* Manage spare parts and serial production
* Act as Program Sales Leader within the program core team
Requirements:
* Degree in Business Administration or Engineering with an interest in developing a career in sales
* Experience in the automotive industry in an operational or commercial role.
* Sales experience in an industrial B2B environment is an advantage
* Fluency in German & English conversational language skills are essential
* Understanding of client business, products, and key competitors
* Accountable and result orientated team player with strong analytical skills
* Strong MS Office and reporting skills with a good understanding of financial KPIs
