Job title:gitano tulum sales managerlocation:based in tulum, mexicoabout us:we're a collection of three unique properties in tulum, mexico:- casa gitano: a luxurious beachfront hotel offering bohemian-chic accommodations and unparalleled service.gitano beach: a vibrant beach club and restaurant serving fresh seafood and creative cocktails in a stunning oceanfront setting.gitano jungle: an immersive restaurant and lounge nestled in the jungle, offering an innovative menu and expertly crafted cocktails amidst a lush, tropical atmosphere.job summary:we're seeking an experienced sales manager/director to lead our groups, events, and weddings sales efforts across our three properties.
the successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with clients and partners, and showcasing our unique venues to the global market.key responsibilities:- sales strategy and planning:develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for groups, events, and weddings across all propertiesconduct market research and analyze competitor activity to inform sales strategiescollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales plansclient relationships and sales:build and maintain relationships with key clients, wedding planners, event organizers, and industry partnersconduct site visits, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business opportunitiesprovide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfactionsales operations and administration:develop and manage sales collateral, including brochures, proposals, and contractsmaintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, and revenue performanceensure compliance with company policies and proceduresteam leadership and collaboration:lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and exceed client expectationscollaborate with other departments, including operations, marketing, and culinary, to ensure seamless execution of eventsprovide coaching, training, and development opportunities to team membersrevenue growth and performance:achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targetsmonitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actionsdevelop and implement strategies to increase revenue and market sharerequirements:- 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality or events industryproven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targetsexcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsstrong network of industry contacts and relationshipsability to work independently and as part of a teamproficiency in english and spanish (additional languages a plus)strong analytical and problem-solving skillsability to travel occasionally for sales meetings and industry eventspreferred qualifications:- experience with wedding and event planningknowledge of the tulum and mexican hospitality marketsfamiliarity with crm software and sales management toolscertification in hospitality or events sales (e.g., cmp, cmm)what we offer:- competitive salary and commission structureopportunities for professional growth and developmentcollaborative and dynamic work environmentaccess to exclusive industry events and networking opportunitiesdiscounts on accommodations, dining, and experiences at our propertiesif you're a driven, charismatic, and results-focused sales professional looking to join a luxury hospitality brand, please submit your application, including your resume and a cover letter, to *
