in this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage the account strategy that is focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

this role is contributing to the marketing and sales organization in usa.
main stakeholders are district sales managers and area sales managers.
you will be mainly accountable for:leading the development and implementation of the account plan and statement of work growth actions.
identifies and drives the development of new leads & opportunities in the designated us region.understanding the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer's business and business environment, translating them into the corresponding impacts and opportunities for abb.
sells products to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned region.participating in the development of sales strategies for the account through providing current business and long-term plans for the customer.defining sales targets, giving input on market price developments monitoring competitors' activity with the account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are implemented.

qualifications for the role bachelor's degree in electrical, electromechanical, or related fields with knowledge in electrical markets.minimum of 5 years of experience in b2b sales or account management within the electrification, energy, or industrial sectors.strong knowledge of the u.s. market, with proven experience managing key accounts and developing commercial strategies.solid understanding of electrical systems – single-line diagrams and basic industrial electrical processes (preferred).hands-on experience with crm and erp platforms – salesforce and sap highly preferred.strong commercial mindset with a customer-centric approach.
skilled in managing quotations, bids, stock coordination, and post-sales support.advanced english proficiency (spoken and written) is required. Vi värdesätter människor med olika bakgrund.
