we are seeking a power bi developer to perform enterprise data analytics services.
general activities:
1. develop power bi reports focused on supply chain, business, and finance, including the conversion of legacy power bi reports to medtronic gsc insights.
2. follow gsc insights development guidelines for both front-end and back-end development.
3. develop, inspect, mine, transform, and model data to increase productivity, improve decision-making, and gain a competitive advantage.
4. perform statistical analysis on data to ensure accurate predictive forecasting or classification.
5. manage all aspects of end-to-end data processing using customized system reporting functions.
6. maintain analytical systems, verify data accuracy, and liaise with the business.
7. build statistical models such as decision trees, word clouds, and regression.
8. create predictive models and prescribe actions to enhance productivity.
qualifications and skills:
* educational background in software engineering, telematics, or data analytics.
* experience with power bi, snowflake, and enterprise data analytics.
* proficiency in languages and tools such as dax, sql, ui/ux and design, javascript, and python.
* experience with master data in supply chain (commercial operations, distribution, transportation).
* advanced skills in excel and powerpoint.
* proficiency in english.
* experience in data model design and building data structures.
* proficient in sql, sql server, etl, ssrs, ssis, and ssas systems.
* experience working within agile delivery teams.
