this is an exciting opportunity for you to light the way as an employee relations specialist at our mexicali site. This role is responsible for implementing human resources policies and procedures.
* attend and follow-up on labor cases with managers.
* assess employee needs and organizational capacity to meet them. Manage contracts related to wages, complaints, and follow labor activities with hrbp and legal department.
* develop and implement documentation and reports for labor relations management.
* manage workforce data, including headcount reports, statistics, and projections.
* audit employee databases periodically for accuracy.
* establish and request creation of employee shifts.
* handle employee resignations, manage employee files, and administer pension plans.
* prepare employee offers based on compensation levels.
* oversee hiring processes.
* ensure timely promotions by supervisors/managers.
* manage surveys and action plans, ensure compliance with certifications such as ctpat, sgi, stps, and others.

* 4+ years of direct hr experience
* leadership skills
* strong knowledge of mexican labor law
* effective communication skills
* strategic thinking and a global business perspective
* knowledge of continuous improvement processes
* bilingual in english and spanish
* bachelor's degree
