SAP Basis Admin – NTT DATA North America
Location: Remote, Mexico (MX-MEX), Mexico.
Join our team as a SAP Basis Administrator responsible for designing, installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining complex SAP landscapes. Ensure system performance, security, and availability through system upgrades, database management, user administration, and troubleshooting critical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, and configure complex SAP landscapes, ensuring they meet technical and business requirements.
- Perform ongoing maintenance, system upgrades, patch management, and manage system performance and resource optimization.
- Monitor SAP systems for performance bottlenecks, proactively identify issues, and implement tuning strategies to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage and maintain various database environments, including SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, and MSSQL.
- Administer user access, maintain roles, and implement security best practices and policies.
- Develop, implement, and manage robust backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot and resolve system errors and incidents, and lead efforts in technical problem-solving.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for systems, procedures, and configurations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants and other IT teams, to ensure seamless integration and support of SAP systems.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration and architecture.
- Proven expertise in SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, ECC6, S/4HANA, Solution Manager, and other relevant SAP technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating environments.
- Experience with administration of various databases, such as Oracle, HANA, DB2, and SQL.
- Familiarity with SAP RISE/HEC and public cloud environments is a plus.
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.

- Relevant SAP certifications are considered a significant advantage.
