Job overview:
prepare, analyze, and support the accounting closing process, as well as plan and monitor the delivery of accounting reports, analysis, and integration of accounting accounts, based on the procedures, standards, and policies established by the company’s corporate governance to provide the necessary accounting information for correct decision-making and to support other areas in having preventive controls over the company’s income, costs, and expenses.
duties and responsibilities:
1. Ensure that accounting is properly recorded based on the company’s accounting policies and considering nifs, usgaap, and general knowledge for reporting in ifrs, with the aim of implementing a process that includes policies and procedures for efficient reporting to the financial management.
2. Supports the development of preventive controls through the analysis of accounting accounts, (integrations and account reconciliations for internal control based on sox), as well as analysis of income, cost, expense, fixed asset, and tax variations.
3.prepare basic internal and external financial statements, analyze financial information and accounting accounts, and prepare actual vs. budget financial statements for decision-making in our company.
job profile:
education and experience
* bachelor’s degree in accounting.
* 5 years of experience in accounting in international companies and accounting processes under sarbanes-oxley regulations, nifs, us gaaps, general knowledge of ifrs. Experience in consulting and in general ledger areas
* preferably but not exclusively, experience in auditing in companies known as the big 4.
* advanced proficiency in excel and microsoft office in general, experience with erp (oracle r-12, sap).
* advanced level proficiency in english (communication with usa)
