Our client designs and operates extraordinary travel experiences in mexico, connecting travelers with local communities, nature, and authentic experiences. As a dmc, its mission is to generate a positive impact on communities and ecosystems through tourism. In this context, the company is seeking a professional to lead this evolution from the product area, with the ability to deeply understand operational workflows, identify opportunities for value creation through technology, establish strategic priorities, collaborate closely with engineering and design teams, and transform an ambitious vision into functional, measurable, and widely adopted systems. Hybrid work arrangement. Monday through friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Two days in the office—tuesdays are mandatory; the other day can be coordinated with the tech lead. Contract type, duration, and work location: resico contract (mexico). Permanent (6-month probationary period) preference is given to mexico city, although the search may be expanded to other cities if the candidate's profile is exceptionally strong. Talent budget: 80,000 mexican pesos role information: this is not a traditional product manager role focused on launching isolated features. This role is intended to help define and build the company's internal operating system: the way travel experiences are designed, sold, operated, and scaled. The ideal candidate must be comfortable operating across business, operations, users, technology, and strategy. The person should understand which problems are worth solving, which tools should be adopted, which processes should be redesigned, and which components should be built internally because they represent a real competitive advantage. Responsibilities: • lead the evolution of the company's technological and operational ecosystem, mapping critical processes related to travel design, sales, operations, supplier management, and international expansion. • identify bottlenecks, automation opportunities, and operational efficiency improvements, transforming business needs into clear, prioritized, and actionable solutions. • define and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on scalability, operational efficiency, service quality, and business value. • validate hypotheses, measure outcomes, and ensure each initiative has clear objectives and success metrics. • collaborate cross-functionally with development, design, operations, and sales teams. • draft functional requirements, coordinate project execution, and ensure proper adoption of implemented solutions. • document processes, learnings, and decisions to strengthen organizational knowledge reuse. • participate in technical decisions related to architecture, integrations, apis, databases, and external tools. • evaluate tradeoffs between custom-built solutions, automations, and existing software solutions. • promote a product culture focused on value, learning, adoption, speed, and operational impact through data-driven and user-centered decision-making. Technical skills • more than 3 years of experience in product management, technical product management, product operations, product engineering, or similar roles. • experience leading digital products or internal systems end-to-end. • strong capability in product discovery processes, including interviews, user observation, workflow analysis, insight synthesis, and opportunity identification. • strong prioritization skills and strategic decision-making focused on business value. • experience collaborating with development teams, design teams, and non-technical stakeholders. • solid understanding of software architecture, databases, apis, integrations, and saas tools. • practical experience in software development or close collaboration with engineering teams; previous experience as a fullstack developer is highly valued. • ability to pragmatically evaluate build vs buy decisions.
