Conduct research in english and local language(s), as applicable, using various publicly available online open sources and subscription sources and analyze and compile information from these sources and local field information in support of investigative and intelligence cases undertaken for our clients. This position will report directly to an operations project manager within the field research & investigations group (fig).
conduct research using various publicly available online open sources, proprietary databases, subscription sources, and search tools in support of various investigative and intelligence cases undertaken for our clients, including open‐source investigations (osi) and in support of enhanced due diligence (edd) investigations, as well as various intelligence reports and other investigations which may be assigned.
conduct analysis on information identified with respect to the type of report to which it applies, including regulatory compliance, investigative analysis, risk assessments, and other specific analysis which may be tasked.
mentoring involves reviewing and editing any cases assigned to a new or existing analyst or editor, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring that the completed report on an entity or principal is accurate and complete through separate research, analysis, and compilation.
quality assurance: provide constructive feedback and guidance to other staff members, including independent contractors, who may not be adhering to the defined quality standards that are used as part of the quality measurement system.
experience conducting research regarding anti‐bribery, anti‐corruption (abac), know your customer (kyc), and anti‐money‐laundering (aml).
~ background in journalism, legal services, and research.
~ fluent in english and other applicable languages.
~ bachelor's degree or equivalent international degree.
