- write, edit, and proofread auction listings with a focus on luxury watches and timepieces.
- research product history, brand background, and technical specifications to produce accurate and captivating descriptions.
- collaborate with auction specialists, photographers, and marketing teams to gather details and present items effectively.
- translate technical watch terminology (movements, complications, materials, provenance) into clear, engaging language for diverse audiences.
- ensure all content is consistent with brand voice, formatting guidelines, and compliance standards.
- optimize content for both digital platforms (online auction sites, e-commerce listings) and print (catalogs, promotional brochures).
- stay up to date with watch market trends, brands, and industry terminology to ensure relevancy and accuracy.
*requirements*:
- proven experience as a content writer, cataloger, or copywriter in the *watch industry* (auction house, e-commerce, or luxury retail preferred).
- strong research skills and ability to write clearly about technical and historical aspects of timepieces.
- excellent command of english (grammar, spelling, and punctuation).
- knowledge of watch brands, complications, and industry terminology (mandatory).
