a day in the life
as senior manager – idc operations, you will lead a team of three direct reports, working closely with our 3pl partner at their cuautitlán izcalli facility. This high-impact role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and effective flow of goods, representing 40% of cpd latam and 30% of total latam sales. You'll be instrumental in optimizing logistics operations, managing the 3pl contract, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage cutting-edge technology and data-driven insights to shape the future of l'oréal's supply chain, while contributing to our broader purpose of creating sustainable and inclusive beauty.
* strategic planning & optimization: develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and service level improvements. This includes leveraging data analytics to identify areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
* 3pl relationship management: oversee the relationship with our 3pl partner, ensuring contract compliance, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement of their services. Negotiate contracts and manage budgets effectively.
* supply chain excellence: drive continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of the supply chain, focusing on process optimization, technology adoption, and risk mitigation. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (kpis) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
* team leadership & development: lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of three direct reports, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Provide guidance and support to indirect reports within the 3pl facility.

the ideal candidate will be a highly experienced and results-oriented leader with a proven track record of success in supply chain management. They will possess strong analytical skills, a data-driven approach, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. They will also be a strong leader with a passion for developing their team.
