As a Sr. Associate of the Marketing Science team, you will develop actionable insights through quantitative analysis, innovative thinking, and your industry knowledge to be a key contributor towards tactical and strategic efforts. You will work with the team to manage reporting pipelines, dashboards, and conduct ongoing analysis to determine strengths and weaknesses across the advertising portfolio.
Areas of Responsibility:
* Maintaining reporting processes and executing on client deliverables
* Generating and communicating clear, compelling, and actionable insights
* Ensuring that client-facing and internal reporting is done in a timely manner
* Conducting exploratory data analysis
* Gathering data through various third-party platforms and analytics tools
* Identifying opportunities to continuously automate and improve processes.
Measurement & Reporting:
* Measurement: Develop breadth of knowledge measurement strategy, frameworks and technology.
* Benchmarks & Goals: Monitor media performance against benchmarks; understanding current trends and providing optimizations that will assist in fulfilling business goals.
* Reporting & Optimization: Oversee and QA the development of reports/online dashboards and directing optimization initiatives.
* Insights: Hone the ability to know what an insight is, and developing them for the campaigns.Work closely with the Activation and Planning teams to ensure insights & optimizations are well thought out and able to be implemented.
Data Strategy & Technology:
* Data Technology Utilization: Assist with automation and improve processes for efficiencies
* Data Management: Be accountable for the maintenance and QA of data systems and processes used for reporting and on-going data analysis. The ability to know when something doesn’t look right.
* Ad Operations: Apply advanced understanding of Ad Operations and QA procedures
Requirements:
* 1-2 years of experience, in marketing analytics.
* Strong proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of online dashboarding tools (Tableau/Datorama) is a must.
* Experience with Google Analytics strongly preferred. Knowledge of DCM and online media execution platforms (DV360, Trade Desk, SA360, Facebook, required).
* Analytic Capabilities: Ability to think logically and use quantitative techniques to solve problems in campaign analysis, optimization, data management, data operations and/or predictive modeling
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in math, economics, engineering, social sciences, finance, analytical fine arts, or business/marketing fields
Desired Technical Skills:
* Ad-serving and web analytics tools (CM360, DV360, SA360, IAS/DoubleVerify, Facebook).
* Site Analytics tools (Google Analytics) strongly recommended.
* Behavioral data sources (Acxiom, Experian, Clickstream, Location, IRi, Liveramp)
* Syndicated research sources/tools (Gfk, MRI, Simmons, Scarborough, IMS, Nielsen, comScore)
Bonus Technical Skills:
* Cross-media brand lift research (Kantar, Lucid, etc.)
* Advanced analytics software package: SQL, R, Python or other.
* ETL tools like Alteryx
