key responsibilities
manage and grow existing accounts while developing new business opportunities in mexico
promote a portfolio of specialty ingredients using a consultative sales approach
identify customer needs and recommend suitable products based on technical and market requirements
build strong relationships with key stakeholders including r&d, procurement, and senior management
prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial documentation
work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth execution
monitor market trends, competitors, and new opportunities
handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints professionally
maintain accurate records in crm/erp systems
attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
requirements
bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
5+ years of b2b sales experience, ideally in ingredients, food & beverage, or supplements
experience in account management and business development
proficiency in crm/erp systems and microsoft office
strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
self-motivated and results-driven
comfortable working across cultures with strong problem-solving abilities
high emotional intelligence and adaptability
