this role is responsible for developing and expanding relationships with enterprise customers that require seamless, efficient transportation across the u. S.
–mexico corridor.
you will partner with u. S.
-based internal teams and external stakeholders to design customized cross-border solutions, navigate the complexities of international logistics, and drive revenue growth within large, complex accounts.
what you'll do on a typical day
develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and market share across enterprise and national accounts with u. S.
–mexico cross-border shipping needs
engage with large, complex customers (including fortune 100-type organizations) to deliver premium, customized cross-border logistics and 3 pl solutions
identify, develop, and close new business opportunities focused on cross-border freight and supply chain services
partner cross-functionally with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and operations, both in the u. S. and mexico, to deliver seamless cross-border solutions
lead complex negotiations by identifying options, interests, and trade-offs to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes across international stakeholders
spearhead the development and positioning of tailored cross-border service offerings within premium services and 3 pl
build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders on both sides of the border through in-person, phone, and digital engagement
maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and sales activity records within

what you'll need to succeed at xpo
minimum qualifications
bachelor's degree in international business, business administration, economics or equivalent, related work experience
4 years of experience in sales, third‐party logistics (3 pl), less‐than‐truckload (ltl), cross‐border logistics, project management, and/or supply‐chain
proven ability to lead complex, multi‐country negotiations and drive deal strategy
experience building and maintaining relationships with senior and c‐level executives
experience using or similar crm platforms
valid driver's license
bilingual in english and spanish
preferred qualifications
availability to travel up to 75%, including travel within mexico and the u. S. and a valid passport
5 or more years of experience across sales, 3 pl, ltl, or cross‐border logistics environments
direct experience managing u. S.
–mexico cross‐border freight, customs, and transportation solutions
experience managing large enterprise or general accounts
ability to analyze competitor strategies, products, and pricing dynamics across cross‐border markets
demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership
experience structuring and negotiating customized cross‐border logistics solutions and service terms
strong verbal and written communication skills
