Job Responsibilities: Contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support of solutions for Thermo Fisher Scientific's Generative Artificial Intelligence initiatives, web-responsive applications, and microservices architecture. Use the latest cloud and frontend technology to successfully implement projects. Collaborate with a diverse group of over two hundred Software Engineers to drive innovation and progress. Document artifacts and processes effectively and communicate them to others. Mentor and guide engineering teams, participate in design reviews, and contribute to long-term platform planning. High-Level Design: Create the fundamental blueprint and structure of a software system, defining its major components and their interactions. Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders (like Product Managers and business analysts) to understand both business needs and non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, security, reliability). Technology Selection: Determine the appropriate programming languages, frameworks, development tools, and platforms for the project. Architectural Blueprints: Document the design using tools like Unified Modeling Languages (UML), C4, providing clear guidelines for the development team. Technical Standards: Set coding standards and best practices to ensure quality and consistency across the project. Design and deployment of performant, scalable, modular, and secure end-to-end architectures. Job Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience 10 years of solid experience in full stack development 5 years of hands-on experience with OOP (Java and/or Python/Scala) 5 years of hands-on experience with Angular, React, or similar technologies 5 years of experience with AWS Cloud Services such as S3, CloudFront, AIM, CloudFormation, EKS, RDS, SQS, and CloudWatch 5 Database design and implementation with SQL 5 Experience defining and implementing Non-Functional Requirements (NFR – Security, Performance, Cost, etc.) Proficient in data engineering, data platforms (e.g. Databricks), and analytics with a strong track record of successful projects and in-depth knowledge of industry best practices. Enterprise Data Warehousing experience. Working knowledge of two or more common Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure) with expertise in at least one. Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Spark™ and knowledge of Spark runtime internals. Hands on experiences of UiPath RPA, UiPath Orchestrator, UiPath Agents, UiPath Maestro, UiPath Document understanding, UiPath AI Center, UiPath Action Center and UiPath Integration services.
