Lead a team capable of translating technology insights from market intelligence into emerging technologies use cases, to test if they can deliver value towards cemex strategic priorities. Coordinate and engage with other groups in the company that produce and collect market intelligence information looking for news that help p&it vps, evp of dod, and other areas make informed decisions about advantages or threats to the cemex digital strategy.
*main responsibilities*:
- lead the market research team within p&it to produce valuable insights on technology trends and competitors' practices.
- coordinate with cemex areas that market intelligence research to consolidate reports and other ways of communication to vp's and exco members.
- administer the market intelligence web portal and curate its information to create awareness among key stakeholders towards digital solutions and use cases of competitors, new technologies and updates in the digital construction ecosystem
- highlight how digital initiatives will potentially impact enterprise's financial metrics
- drive digital innovation by leveraging innovative techniques, including business model canvas, disruptions and trends, balance scorecard, economical modeling, risks and interdependencies, process models, business capability modeling, ecosystems modeling, customer and user profiling, journey maps, and human-centric design
- select and test emerging technologies to be assimilated, integrated, and introduced within the enterprise to ensure digital capabilities respond to the needs of the enterprise's digital business strategy
- leverage new technologies and approaches to renovate, extend, and transform the existing core technology base and it state
- define and follow up team's objectives while creating a collaborative, transparent, challenging, and open environment to work
- ensure a path for growth to every team member according to their aspirations and capabilities, providing mentoring, coaching and following up their development goals
