as sales manager, you will participate in all sales activities and work in line with the sales and marketing plan for the various market segments in order to exceed hotel revenue and targets.
experience
* professional experience in the sales area of at least 3 years.
qualifications
* strong organizational capabilities, flexibility, adaptability and professional secrecy.
* computer knowledge: microsoft office, internet, database and specific applications for the commercial area, pms and it, budget management and financial management software.
* focus on results, customer orientation, analytical and creative skills.
key accountabilities
* understand the business strategy, positioning of the brand and the minor hotels group and effectively publicize this positioning in the market, projecting a professional image to maintain and improve the reputation of the brand.
* develop business opportunities with a strong focus on international markets, latin america, middle east and asia pacific.
* putting into practice a multi-segment strategy that allows the optimization of results at different times of the year and positions the hotel within the luxury segment.
* stay up to date on rates and all hotel product and service offers.
* conduct regular market analyzes in order to monitor competition and industry trends.
* carry out the correct monitoring, follow-up and management of the group segment on the property, ensuring the correct positioning, follow-up and follow-up of inspection visits, whenever necessary.
* participate in the elaboration of the hotel's budget in terms of revenue.
* understand the importance and priority of the hotel's financial results and direct commercial efforts towards their fulfilment planning and prioritizing work to achieve goals and deadlines.
* support the development of contacts with new customers and monitor their potential revenue.

* actively participate in promotional and commercial trips, inspection visits, roadshows, community events and sector meetings in order for hotel to achieve the expected commercial results.
* establish an effective connection with the hotel's operational teams, front office, reservations and events, providing support and information necessary to ensure compliance with all services and products sold to customers.
* generate upsell and cross-sell opportunities for minor hotels products with customers.
* make business and commercial presentations, internally and externally, and be able to adapt them to the public/client.
* perform any other role-related duties as assigned.
