Position Summary We are seeking a disciplined and technically skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead the reliability and performance of production equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring operational continuity, safety, and compliance in a facility dedicated to the production of refractory solutions for demanding industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Ensure timely response to equipment breakdowns, coordinating resources to restore operations efficiently.
- Diagnose, repair, and adjust electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems, including PLC troubleshooting and controls.
- Use CMMS platforms (e.g., MVP One, SAP PM, Maximo, eMaint) to manage work orders, track execution, and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor and improve KPIs and OEE, investigate shortfalls, and implement corrective actions to stabilize and enhance performance.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and EHS teams to align maintenance efforts with plant goals and regulatory compliance.
- Control maintenance-related spending in support of a cost-conscious culture.
- Act as technical expert and coach, providing hands-on support and guidance to the maintenance team.
- Identify training and development opportunities to elevate team capabilities and safety awareness.
- Hold personnel accountable for completing work within established time and quality expectations.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with team members, fostering a culture of trust, discipline, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- English level B2
- Minimum 7 years of industrial maintenance experience, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in mechanical systems, electrical systems, PLCs, automation, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with Lean Maintenance, TPM, or Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodologies.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Calm, methodical demeanor under pressure in fast-paced environments.
