you will work closely with engineering leadership on managing data collection and processing, documenting product specifications, processes, and technical documentation.
conduct key trainings & familiarization sessions on teamcenter tools/capabilities.
*key responsibilities*:
- product lifecycle management in siemens teamcenter.
- create and maintain configurations for plm in siemens teamcenter.
- understand and help define plm implemented business processes and makes suggestions for improvement of processes.
- create and manage the product bill of materials (bom) and configurations.
- create and process engineering change notice (ecn) and variances.
- driving an efficient part release and documentation process.
- manage and archive part specification documents.
- training of team members that will interface with the configuration management system.
- daily tracking of key metrics such as submitted, processed, and outstanding ecn's, variances' and other engineering operations metrics.
- work closely with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, quality engineers, regulatory engineers, product
- management, and isc teams.
- help to integrate new company acquisitions.
- ensure deliverables are provided on time to production and with high quality.
- manage several projects simultaneously (multitasking).
- participates in the development of test plans for plm user acceptance testing.
- tests plm functionality that has been developed or modified, ensuring the solution meets the needs of the customer and business.
*you must have*:
- experience in siemens teamcenter plm software.
- strong english verbal and written communications skills
- experience in a manufacturing environment releasing documentation for mass production products.
- knowledge engineering change process and change review board function and methodologies.
- experience with cad tools (solidworks, creo, mentor).
- proficient in english communication (written and verbal).
- knowledge of engineering bill of materials (ebom) creation and maintenance in plm.
- knowledge in sap.
- must be a self-starter/self-driven.
