Key responsibilities:- implement and maintain the ehs&s management system aligned with laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
- lead process safety programs, including hazop studies, process hazard analysis pha, and compliance audits.
- ensure regulatory compliance with semarnat, profepa, stps, and protección civil.
- coordinate emergency response, evacuation simulacrum, and training of brigades
- supervise and manage the proper management of hazardous waste in accordance with nom-052-semarnat and other applicable regulations.
- promote safety culture initiatives and awareness campaigns.
- conduct incident investigations (ra, rca, 5 whys) and ensure the implementation of corrective actions.
- manage the physical security of facilities in coordination with the asset security department.
- monitor and report on key performance indicators (kpis) for the department.
- issuance and administration of the department's annual budget.job requirements:- chemical engineering, environmental engineering, industrial engineering, or relate.
- 5+ years in similar position within the chemical, petrochemical or pharmaceutical sector.
