about the role
we’re hiring business development representatives to support outbound deal sourcing through high-volume cold calling. This role is focused on connecting with u.s.-based small business owners, introducing a professional investment group, and identifying potential acquisition opportunities. You will play a key role as the first point of contact, building quick rapport, assessing interest, and booking qualified meetings. This is a highly activity-driven, phone-based role where success is measured by conversations and results.
Key responsibilities
outbound prospecting and cold calling
conduct high-volume outbound calls to u.s. business owners using the provided lead lists
deliver clear and professional introductions
build trust quickly and handle objections with confidence
qualification and appointment setting
identify interest in selling or exploring opportunities
qualify prospects based on conversation signals
book meetings with the investment team and ensure smooth handoff
pipeline management and follow-ups
track all activity in crm (hubspot or similar)
manage follow-ups and nurture conversations across multiple touchpoints
send follow-up emails and schedule meetings
must-have requirements
2+ years of experience in cold calling, appointment setting, or b2b sales
strong spoken english with a neutral or near-neutral accent
excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly
comfortable working in a high-volume outbound environment
experience using crm tools (hubspot, salesforce, or similar)
availability to work us business hours (est)
reliable internet connection and professional remote setup
nice to have
experience in private equity, m&a, or financial services outreach
experience calling u.s.-based small business owners
exposure to blue-collar or trades industries
understanding of business acquisition concepts
background in consultative or relationship-based sales
