job opportunity
position: associate specialist tender support (querétaro, méxico) role: tender management specialist for the chemical business unit.
responsibilities
* systematically oversee and monitor tender platforms across global markets.
* identify and qualify new business opportunities that align with the chemical bu.
* manage the opportunity pipeline within crm, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
* conduct initial product assessment to determine the feasibility and alignment of opportunities with the bu chemical portfolio.
* assist in managing the company's subscriptions to tender platforms and renewals, including optimization of the search profiles.
* maintain the internal repository of tender documentation, ensuring all files are organized and accessible.
* serve as a key point of contact for internal vertical stakeholders, fostering strong working relationships.
* support communication with vertical stakeholders and regional teams.
qualifications
education:
* diploma or equivalent in written and spoken english.
* diploma or equivalent in business administration, public administration, law, or a related field is preferred.
job experience:
* 1-3 years of experience in a similar administrative, tendering, or business development support role, or supporting public sector bid responses (entry‐level experience acceptable).
* familiarity with tender or procurement platforms and crm tools.
* ability to execute tasks with precision and accuracy is non‐negotiable.
* demonstrable ability to manage multiple bids and work to deadlines.
* ideally experienced in the health & safety / ppe / protective equipment industry.
knowledge and skills:
* ability to manage a structured repetitive daily workflow effectively.
* ability to manage and prioritize a varying workload.
* strong interest in public procurement, sales support, or related field.
* excellent organizational skills, deadline focused, and a keen eye for details.
* proactive attitude and eager to learn new systems; familiarity with any crm system is an advantage.
* ability to gain relevant knowledge of high‐end chemical applications.
* ability to gain strong knowledge of tender platforms and business opportunities tracking tools.
* strong communication skills for building relationships with internal teams and presenting findings to internal stakeholders.
* good use of english language (written and oral).
desirable job competencies:
* experience in an administrative, data entry, sales support is highly desirable.
* experience in a tendering or procurement environment is a strong plus, but not required.
* developing ability to review tender documentation and assess key business objectives.
* good microsoft office skills and preferable smartsheet experience.
* desirable practical knowledge of tender platforms.
* team player mindset.
