Payroll specialistwe are seeking a highly skilled payroll specialist to join our team.this is a temporary position with an estimated project duration of 6 months.the ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing payroll for large numbers of employees and be responsible for the accurate and timely execution of payroll cycles, legal compliance, audits, reporting, etc.key responsibilities:manage the full payroll cycle (calculation, stamping, payment, and reconciliation).ensure compliance with tax obligations, imss, infonavit, and labor regulations.handle incidents, updates, and system changes (tress, tempus, workday, oracle).coordinate internal and external payroll audits.implement process improvements and controls to ensure efficiency and accuracy.report key performance indicators.incorporate incidents provided by human resources and validate the calculation of earnings, deductions, and contributions.close monthly statements.requirements:bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field.3+ years of experience processing payroll in mexico, including unionized environments.strong understanding of labor and tax regulations, with the ability to interpret complex legal requirements.experience in month-end closing, account reconciliations, and payroll integration.strong organizational and communication skills.intermediate proficiency in english (spoken and written).high level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee data.proficiency in microsoft office, especially excel, and data processing tools.familiarity with workday, oracle, peoplesoft, or other payroll-related erp systems (tress, tempus).what we offer:a dynamic and challenging work environment.the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals.a competitive salary and benefits package.
