The sr. Test analyst role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of etl tool application testing and gcp bigquery processes. With a focus on day shifts and work from office model the candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing data integrity and optimizing testing methodologies. This position requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in relevant fields.
This position is onsite 5 times a week on our guadalajara offices.
Responsibilities
conduct comprehensive testing of etl tool applications to ensure data accuracy and system functionality.
Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues in data processing workflows.
Design and implement test cases for gcp bigquery to validate data transformations and storage solutions.
Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
Utilize advanced testing techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data validation processes.
Monitor and maintain testing environments to ensure consistency and reliability across all projects.
Develop automated testing scripts to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance productivity.
Work closely with project managers to align testing strategies with business objectives and timelines.
Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing etl processes based on test findings.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all testing activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement in testing methodologies.
Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to promote best practices and innovative testing approaches.
Engage in regular communication with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Qualifications
possess strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and identify discrepancies.
Demonstrate proficiency in etl tool application testing and gcp bigquery.
Have a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and practices.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities to address testing challenges effectively.
Show experience in developing automated testing frameworks and tools.
Strong communication skills to articulate testing results and recommendations clearly.
Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
