Lead financial strategist
we are seeking a seasoned financial leader to spearhead our accounting operations in mexico. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with experience managing complex financial processes and teams.
* develop and implement monthly closing procedures for financial reports
* consolidate parent and subsidiary financials across multiple currencies
* maintain accurate accounting records
* manage and mentor a team of accountants
* ensure compliance with gaap accounting standards
* prepare financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders
* collaborate with leadership to support business planning and decision-making
* proficiency in quickbooks online and quickbooks enterprise
* strong understanding of financial consolidation and multi-currency accounting
* cpa or equivalent certification in mexico (e.g., contador público certificado)
* deep knowledge of gaap accounting principles
* proven experience in managing financial operations and teams
