Business plane logistics, an international company specializing in time-critical shipments worldwide, with its headquarters in monterrey, is looking for a motivated individual ready to put their problem-solving skills to work.report to the supervisor the candidate will be in charge of:investigating and planning the most appropriate route for a shipment, considering cost, transit time, and security.established a good relationship with clients and suppliers.creating quotes and negotiating with the customer to provide the best solution for his needs.negotiating contracts, transportation, and handling costs.obtaining, checking, and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with other countries' regulations and fiscal regimes.arranging air transport for urgent and high-value freight and managing the risk door-to-door.acting as a broker in customs negotiations worldwide to guide the freight efficiently through complex procedures.dealing with special arrangements for transporting delicate cargoes, such as livestock and medical supplies.arranging couriers and specialists for the hand‑carry services.arranging nfo (next flight out) shipments and handling the process from the beginning till the cargo is delivered. Ensure all the documentation related to the shipment is correct.maintaining communication and control through all phases of the journey, including the production of management reports and statistical and unit‑cost analysismanaging and keeping the customer updated for each step of the shipment.maintaining current knowledge of relevant legislation, political situations, and other factors that could affect the movement of freight.specific education & experience requirements:english level (b2-c1) at least.good working knowledge of computer systems/applications; microsoft office.high attention to detail and following standard procedure.ability to plan, prioritize and complete assignments within deadlines.previous experience in logistics is a plus.
